About Us

Forever Friends Foster Care & Rescue was originally established by two friends with a singular vision: finding homes for displaced or abandoned animals. Patti and Noelle met while volunteering at The Low Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic. Together they decided to start fostering dogs and finding homes for them.

The idea grew so fast that Patti and Noelle had to start recruiting other foster homes! Forever Friends Foster Care & Rescue hope one day to launch a doggie hotel/bed & breakfast to house all of the Forever Friends rescue dogs.

Since its inception, Forever Friends has helped hundreds of animals find permanent, loving homes. Forever Friends is a fully licensed 501(c)(3) not-for-profit entity, so any donations made are tax-deductible!

Who we are...

Patti Colwell

Patti has a passion for Chihuahuas like no other. Her first rescue was a little guy named Poncho. He stole her heart and from that moment on she knew that she had found her purpose in life: to save as many dogs as she possibly could. She volunteered at The Low Cost Spay & Neuter Clinic, where she met Noelle Harris. Thus began the Forever Friends story!

Loy Pruitt

Loy Pruitt is our best volunteer foster mom. She is always available to lend a hand and take in a new foster dog. No matter how many dogs she has or how busy she may be, she is always ready to take on more. She works part time and she is the volunteer coordinator for the Low Cost Spay and Neuter Clinic. Not only does she coordinate all the volunteers, she also helps recover the animals as they come out of surgery.

You will not find another volunteer that is as dedicated to the animals as Loy. Just like the rest of us, Loy sometimes gets so attached to her foster dogs that they never leave the safety and comfort of her home.
